The Annual Atlanta Black Theatre Festival is a festival that showcases 40 plays in 4 days, including the Louisiana original play, She Still Dreams.

Synopsis:

An experience not to miss, She Still Dreams follows Savannah through her life and
dreams, while telling the story of a girl that once carried a special light inside of her who now, as a woman, is lost in loss and life. She lives a quiet life, her husband doesn’t talk, and Savannah has accepted these circumstances as her life, never to change.  She Still Dreams showcases the beautiful process of finding the way through discovered through Savannah’s own dreams in dynamic scenes that force her to express her deepest feelings and face her life’s hardest questions until She Still Dreams, not of what isn’t, but what can be.

The play is produced, directed, and written by The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Performing Arts alum, Outstanding Graduate, and Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Honored Playwright, Brian Egland.
